Carlo Aquino speaks about Trina Candaza and their daughter Mithi
Kapamilya actor Carlo Aquino revealed that his ex-girlfriend social media influencer Trina Candaza did not respond when he asked about allowing him to spend time with their daughter Mithi.
Carlo announced his breakup with Trina in April last year. However, even before that, Trina has shared hints that she and Carlo are no longer together. Trina has been sharing cryptic posts from time to time and many netizens think that these are connected to what happened or happening between her and Carlo.
In a recent interview, Carlo was asked about his co-parenting setup with Trina, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon. The actor mentioned that it was okay for the first few months but eventually, this changed.
When asked what was the problem that the co-parenting did not work eventually, the actor said, “Ayokong mag-assume, ayokong magsalita kasi hindi ko talaga alam ‘yung nangyayari. Kasi minsan okay, ipapasundo, ‘yung ganyan, sana talaga alam ko,’ he said.
Carlo Aquino stressed that this should be the point at which he and Trina Candaza should talk about the welfare of their baby. “Kailangan niya ng tatay, kailangan niya ng nanay. At the end of the day, sa lahat ng mga lumalabas, ‘yung magsa-suffer, sino? ‘Pag nagkaisip na siya,” the actor added.
He also said that he does not want to say anything against Trina because she is still the mother of his baby. On the other hand, the actor shared that he messaged his ex-girlfriend asking her if Mithi could spend the New Year with him. However, Carlo said that Trina did not respond.
“Wala pong sagot. Siyempre importante ‘yung time with me, ‘yung time din with my parents, ‘yung lolo’t lola na senior na, sila mommy at daddy. Sana, ‘di ba, mahiram ko naman. Tutal nagpo-provide ako para sa kanilang dalawa, ayoko nang isa-isahin, ng mga kailangan nila,” he said.
When it comes to the gift he prepared for Mithi, Carlo said that he would give things that his daughter needs. The actor also revealed that he has been reaching out to Mithi but Trina would not respond. “Ayokong ma-headline na pabaya o hindi pinapahiram. Ayoko ‘yung mga ganun. Ayoko ng away, actually,” he said.
