Lolit Solis shared an update about her health
Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis shared a big scare in her life that she recently experienced regarding her health.
Lolit previously shared that she is undergoing dialysis. From time to time, she would share health updates on her Instagram page. In her post on January 4, she shared a recent incident that happened to her that really scared her.
“Talagang I got the big scare in my life kahapon dahil parang feeling ko nagkaruon ako ng mild stroke,” Lolit said. This happened after her dialysis session. She shared that the left side of her body stiffened. “Nag slur ako sa pagsasalita. Muntik nga daw ipabalik ni Mel ang sasakyan sa hospital dahil hindi niya maintindihan ang pagsasalita ko,” she added.
Lolit Solis said that her brain seemed to have passed out at that time. She was unaware of what was happening to her. She is thankful that after five minutes her condition was back to normal. However, she is already decided to consult her doctor and undergo lab tests.
“Medyo natakot ako dahil first time ko talaga naranasan iyon at very scary talaga,” Lolit shared, adding that there were those who died in dialysis sessions and so she was asking why she had to undergo dialysis if she will die anyway.
She also said that her 2023 did not start well. “Naku ang morbid talaga na first week pa lang ng New Year 2023 ito na agad ang topic, kainis talaga,” the showbiz writer said. Lolit acknowledges the fact that as she gets older, her body becomes weaker.
On the other hand, looking at the positive side, she said that she is still able to reach this year. “Buhay na buhay, kaya bongga parin,” she said.
Amid her neath condition, Lolit Solis has been receiving love and support from her friends in the entertainment industry and outside showbiz. She would always share photos with celebrities she manages when they would visit her.
