Kapamilya teen star and one of the country’s most popular recording artist Daniel Padilla added another achievement to his fast-rising career as his album titled “I Heart You” reached double platinum status. The announcement of Daniel Padilla’s achievement was revealed online by Roxy Liquigan, head of ABS-CBN’s Star Music.
The 19-year-old Daniel Padilla whose latest album contains 11 tracks was produced by ABS-CBN’s Star Music and was released last April 14, 2014. The album “I Heart You” is Daniel Padilla’s third consecutive platinum-status album since the year 2012 when he released his self-titled debut album.
According to Roxy Liquigan, the latest album of Daniel Padilla has already reached double platinum status which caused celebrations among the fans and followers of the singer-actor, on micro-blogging site Twitter.
On Wednesday afternoon, among the nationwide trending topics on Twitter were “Congratulations DJP,” “Double Platinum” and “The Teen King,” all titles were identified with Daniel Padilla.
Aside from the success of Daniel Padilla in the music industry, his latest movie with on-screen love partner Kathryn Bernardo titled “Crazy Beautiful You,” also dominated the box office earnings among Filipino movies for the year 2015.
Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are also busy right now as they prepared for the highly anticipated remake of the country’s most successful teleserye, “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” which will be aired in the next few months through ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
