The team of Coach Lea Salonga already revealed the list of artists who will move on to the Live Rounds of the country’s top rating and top-trending singing competition in the country after the Knockout rounds rook place on Sunday, January 11, 2015.
During the knockout round of Team Lea Salonga, the artists were tasked to perform a song of their choices in an attempt to convince their coach to choose them as one of the artist who will perform in the live rounds of the competition.
Three artists kicked off the night’s episode, Balikbayan singers Timmy Pavino, Charles Catbagan and Leah Patricio performed on Sunday night. Pavino performed the song “Narito” by Gary Valenciano while Catbagan performed Martin Nievera’s “Kahit Isang Saglit,” while Leah Patricio made a powerful rendition of the song “Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin.”
At the end of the trio’s performance, Coach Lea Salonga decided to chose Timmy Pavino and Leah Patricio while Charles Catbagan was eliminated from the knockout round and ended his journey in The Voice of the Philippine Season 2.
The next set of performances features musicians Casper Blancaflor, Mic Llave and Nino Alejandro. Coach Sarah chooses Blancaflor’s rendition of Bring Me to Life, Coach Bamboo agreed with Sarah Geronimo and also chose Blancaflor who was chose by Coach Lea to move to the Live Rounds alongside rocker Nino Alejandro who performed the song “Love Hurts,” while Mic Llave was eliminated after he performed the song “Anak.”
Rounding up the Sunday’s episode of The Voice Ph Season 2 features Abbey Pineda, Miro Valera and Jem Cubil. Miro Valera and Abbey Pineda moved on to the live rounds of the competition while Jem Cubil failed and ended his journey in the Twitter trending singing competition, The Voice of the Philippines Season 2.
I think Timmy’s great rival here is Leah Patricio, then Nino Alejandro.But as I have said before, just keep that confidence strong.Pray always in every battle Timmy.God always side with the humblest of heart.
