Prominent Kapuso star Maxene Magalona declares that she is now ready to transfer to rival network, ABS-CBN, following a series of guest appearances in the Kapamilya Channel. Maxene Magalona stated that “I’m so grateful to them, but now it’s time for me to move on,” she said.
The 27-year-old daughter of OPM icon, Francis Magalona also noted that she was so happy for her guest appearances in various Kapamilya shows. The showbiz personality was interviewed by ABS-CBN during sidelines of H&M Philippines’ launch at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong.
During the past few days, the Kapuso actress was visible in various shows of the Kapamilya Network such as “It’s Showtime,” “The Singing Bee,” and “Kris TV.”
Maxene Magalon has been with the rival network of ABS-CBN, the Kapaso Network since the year 2001 but according to Maxene she started her showbiz career with ABS-CBN during her early days in showbiz via “Ang TV” in 1994.
When the daughter of Francis M and wife Pia, was interviewed by some members of the press about her decision to appear in ABS-CBN, she stated that she just want to grow as an artist and wanted a change of scene, a new environment and meet a lot of new people to work with.
The mother of Maxene, Pia Magalona who also served as her manager, discuss properly their plans for Maxene’s career with the management of GMA-7. Maxene Magalona also stated that she was also grateful with GMA-7, the station that honed her skills as an artist, but if she is given a chance to work with the Kapamilya Channel, she would be happy to be part of the family.
