Daniel de los Santos was one of the selected recipients of late actor AJ Perez’s corneas.
Daniel has difficulties of seeing things clearly because of hisdefective right eye. His right eye gave him a blurred vision due to a white dot which is in it. It was said that he has a corneal ulcer.
The young boy has been suffering this since his infancy and now he is already 8 years old. But despite all of this, he acts like other children does normally. He even played video games and sporty ones like basketball.
Daniel said in an interview with ABS-CBN reporters that he sees things blurred and can only recognize the colors of it and some shapes.
Sarah Delos Santos, Daniel’s mother has been praying for the treatment of her son and hoping to be granted with a corneal transplant for already a long time but she find it hard looking for donors that fit for his son’s age. She said that only those of the teenagers fit.
Now, she was so thankful to the Lord for the answered prayer. She was also grateful for the family of AJ for having Daniel as one AJ’s cornea recipients.
For knowing, Daniel said that he is happy and it shows for he will finally have ease focusing on his studies especially when it comes to reading. He said that his ambition is to become a doctor.
The corneal transplant for Daniel is said to be done tomorrow.
How lucky the 8 year old boy to a recipient of a beautiful cornea of Aj Perez.. and the boy is also good looking… With Aj Perez eyes with Daniel… no question ask if someday Daniel will be lined up as a child star … teen star!
