The open letter started when she said that she have given up on herself as she goes though a midlife crisis. A midlife crisis is a term stating a time where adults come to realize their own mortality and how much time is left in their life.
This is the open letter in her Facebook page.
Through it, Cuneta have apologized on her fans for letting them down. She also said that she is now paying the price of not taking care of her career. She also said that she have started to work like a “robot” just to be able to cope up with the midlife crisis she is experiencing. But still, she felt the same thing. She felt that she did not maximized her talent over the years that she is in the industry.
She also said that her reactions on certain things had led her to commit mistakes that have affected the times she have worked for over the past 30 years. Somewhat, she is blaming herself for what had happened in her life and in her career over the years. She is also expecting her “bashers” to somehow challenge her through the open letter she have posted.
Cuneta also reconsiders on starting a new chapter in her life by “going back to basics.” At the end of the letter, Cuneta thanked all people who have been with her along the way. Especially those people who never stopped on supporting her and for the love they give.
Actually, all people will somehow experience the what they called as a midlife crisis. Indeed, it’s actually normal. But then, don’t really take it so bad.
