Grace Alade is the 13th 3-chair turner in The Voice Kids, during her performance on the Blind Audition on Sunday, June 22, 2014, the final night of the audition. She made her own rendition of the song popularized by Whitney Houston titled “Try It On My Own.”

The 14-year-old aspiring kid singer from Binangonan, Rizal made all the three judges of The Voice Kids, Coach Sarah, Coach Lea, and Coach Bamboo turned their chair around to convince Grace Alade to be with their team.
Coach Lea, exclaimed after her performance noting that “Ang ganda ng boses mo!,” she said and adds further that “I might get struck by lightning but you just out-Whitneyed Whitney [Hosuton].” she stated.
Coach Bamboo on his part called Grace Alade’s performance as the best of The Voice Kids so far. He was quoted as saying, “You belong already with the big leagues. Para sa akin, overall the best complete performance in this whole show so far,” he said.
Coach Sarah Geronimo also stated that Grace Alade will make it big in the future and even stood up to get an autograph from Grace Alade. All the three coaches used every tactics and flattering remarks to convince Grace Alade to join their respective teams.
After careful decision making, the aspiring singer, Grace Alade, chose to join Team Lea, mentored by Lea Salonga, the winning team during the first season of The Voice of the Philippines with Mitoy Yonting as the ultimate winner.
