The “Parokya ni Edgar” lead vocalist Chito Miranda is now engaged to his long-time girlfriend and former Star Circle Quest Neri Naig. Both stars started with their romantic relationship on December 2011. Chito Miranda and Neri Naig became the hottest online topic last year when they were involved in a controversial video.

The 38-year-old Chito Miranda was emotional during the engagement to his 28-year-old girlfriend. On May 14, 2014, Chito Miranda shared a YouTube video featuring his romantic proposal with his girlfriend.
According to the singer and composer, he connived with his friend who is a director to shoot for a music video. The supposed to be music video was shoot in a garden. Chito Miranda noted that the music video is just a front of his proposal because he wanted to document everything.
Neri Naig didn’t expect that everything was set up by his boyfriend who earlier stated in various reports that they will settle down in the near future. The former Star Circle Quest artist was so busy in the morning of her music video shooting while Chito Miranda on his part went to a flower shop and bought a bouquet of flowers.
The proposal of Chito Miranda happened at night, the director gave an instruction to Neri Naig for her final scene. She was really on her character during that time while walking at the center of the garden.
The actress was slightly confused when she saw on the wide-screen the following message: “Ako na siguro ang pinaka swerteng lalake sa buong Cavite.” Neri Naig was then surprised when Chito Miranda emerged on scene and gave her flowers. The couple then hugged and released their emotions with tears of joys.
Neri Naig was so surprised with Chito’s gesture, the singer-songwriter then said: “I want you to watch this, baby. I prepared everything for you,” the emotional Chito Miranda state and told Neri to watch his video presentation on screen.
At the end of the video presentation, a statement reads: “Dahil mapapangasawa ko yung pinakamagandang babae sa Eastwoood… Kung papayag siya?”
Chito Miranda then knelt in front of Neri Naig and made an emotional marriage proposal to his girlfriend. Chito was quoted as saying “I love you very much, baby… Will you marry me, baby?” he said. Neri Naig then replied with a sweet “Of course, yes.” she said. The couple then embraced with each other and the fireworks displays prepared by Chito adds more memories to his unforgettable proposal.
