The former Sinulog Festival Queen of 2013 winner Jamie Herrel is considered as one of the toughest candidate in this year’s edition of Miss Philippines Earth beauty pageant. As of May 8, 2014, Jamie Herrel already garnered two special awards from Miss Philippines Earth 2014 beauty pageant.
Jamie Herrel represented Tribu Himag-Ulaw from the Municipality of Placer, Masbate during the 2013 Sinulog Festival. She was also a former winner of the Reyna ng Aliwan crown of 203 representing Sinulog Festival against other festival queens at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
The 19-year-old Jamie Herrel was one of the candidate of the Miss Resorts World Manila 2013 bearing candidate No. 1, her first beauty pageant appearance in Metro Manila.
Jamie Herrel stands at 5’6 1/2, with vital statistics 35.5-26-35, she has been diligently working out come up with a more confident figure for the competition and hopes to follow the footsteps of former Cebuana title-holder of the Miss Earth crown, Karla Henry.
The native of Placer, Masbate but represented the Queen City of the South, Cebu City had already won two minor awards in the Miss Earth Philippines competition.
Jamie Herrel won the Best in Swimsuit and Best in Cultural Attire minor awards in the Miss Earth Philippines 2014.
The coronation night of the Miss Earth Philippines 2014 will be held this coming Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the highly anticipated finale of the event will be shown live through the facilities of ABS-CBN, one of he major sponsors of the Miss Earth Philippines.
