John Lloyd Cruz opened up about this aspect of his life
A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz revealed that he had a plan to go to Nepal in order to meet a woman that he saw on a certain site.
Lloydie has been in the industry for several years now and he has already earned the status of one of the most sought-after leading men in the Philippines. However, there was a certain point in his life when he thought of leaving the fame and prestige that showbiz offers to him.
In the second part of Karen Davila’s interview, John Lloyd Cruz revealed that when he was 22 years old, he happened to saw a website showing a woman from the United States of America who moved to Nepal.
The said woman adopted 50 children and housed them together. “Sabi ko, ‘grabe to ah, ang lupit nito ah,” Lloydie remarked. Then, he said to himself, if this woman can do this, then, he can definitely learn something from her. In the photo that was shown on Karen’s vlog, the woman established the Kopila Valley Children’s Home.
Lloydie said that he considered going to Nepal and pursuing the woman as he does not want to reach out just through email. “Hinanap ko yung address, pupunatahan ko sana siya,” he said. The actor said that he thought of applying in that institution that the woman established and worked perhaps in the kitchen. However, one thing hindered him to pursue that plan.
John Lloyd Cruz was able to have a conversation with veteran actor Joel Torre. The latter made the younger actor realized something. Joel told Lloydie was just thinking that he is not helping anyone but in reality, many people have already received help from him.
