Fully Vaccinated Individuals From Abroad Need Only 7 Days Of Quarantine
FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS – Foreigners entering the Philippines from abroad only needs 7 days of quarantine if they are from a “low-risk” country.
Earlier, the Philippine government reduced the quarantine length for Filipinos re-entering the Philippines from abroad by 7 days if they were fully vaccinated. Now, the same protocol is allowed for foreigners.
During an online briefing, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said:
Sa mga nakatanggap ng full vaccination sa labas ng Pilipinas, kinakailangan dala niyo ang opisyal ng dokumento na nagsasabi na sila ay nabakunahan na

According to Roque, travelers’ documents should have validation from an Philippine Overseas Labor Officer. Afterward, they could choose to show an International Certificate of Vaccination.
Meanwhile, when asked which countries are considered “low-risk”, Roque said that the Department of Health would make the list public soon. For now, arriving individuals qualified for the seven-day facility-based isolation needs to get a RT-PCR swab test on the fifth day following entry to the country.
But, if the RT-PCR Test reveals a negative COVID-19 result, the individual still needs to complete the seven-day quarantine period before they are allowed to leave. Previously, the government required 10 days of quarantine with the RT-PCR test being done on the 7th day.
