There was a time when Heart Evangelista almost bid goodbye to her passion
Kapuso star Heart Evangelista shared that there was a time when she almost gave up painting because she did not expect this to happen.
Aside from being an actress and a fashion icon, Heart is also an artist. She even had an art exhibit and she is planning to conduct another one this year.
Just recently, the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaboration shared that she will be collaborating with Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd for an art exhibit. This brought excitement to her creative Heart.
During the same Instagram Live when she announced this upcoming project, Heart Evangelista also recalled the time when she almost turned her back from her art, based on the article in PEP.
“I’m kinda discouraged one time with somebody that said something. It got to me, yeah,” she shared. The actress said that the person who criticized her painting was part of the collector’s chat room.
Somebody who is also part of the chatroom asked her if she could donate paintings and the earning from it will go to charity. With this good intention, Heart said that she was more than willing to help.
“I painted, like, five paintings. Somebody from that chat room messaged the head of the chat room, saying, ‘Why are her works here?’” the actress shared.
Because of that, Heart admitted that she felt discouraged and stopped painting for a while. “I know it’s wrong, and I always say, ‘Don’t get discouraged. Don’t let anybody stop you,'” the Kapuso star shared.
Heart Evangelista explained that when it comes to her paintings, she tends to be more sensitive. “Because it’s like the language of your soul. It’s not what you wear. It’s not how you look. It’s not what you write, or how you sing, but it’s your soul,” she said.
