Angelina Jolie in Marvel’s ‘Eternals’, netizens are excited to for new movie
Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie trended on Twitter after Marvel released a teaser compilation of its upcoming movies, including the ‘Eternals’.
Marvel caused excitement to movie fans for a bunch of superhero films lined up for this year and upcoming years. One of the movies is from Academy Award-winning director Chloé Zhao’s Eternals.
Based on the article in Polygon, Eternals will feature new characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe who are immortal beings with fantastic powers. They were created by nigh-omnipotent space beings at the dawn of civilization. These beings never die, never age, and have been living along with humans for thousand of years.
The teaser showed the stars featured in the movie such as Salma Hayek as Ajak, the Eternals’ leader. Lia McHugh plays the youthful-seeming Sprite while Richard Madden portrays the character of Ikari. Then, Gemma Chan is Sersi and Kumail Nanjiani is Kingo.
The trending celebrity Angelina Jolie plays the character of Thena. They all appear in the present but this could also mean that they are in the past.
Initially, Eternals was intended to be released on November 6, 2020. However, several delays happened and it is now set to be released on November 5, 2021.
This announcement from the film outfit brought excitement to fans. Here are some of the tweets about the movie and the A-list Hollywood actress.
Aside from this Marvel film, Angelina Jolie also has another upcoming movie this May titled Those Who Wish Me Dead. November last year, her fantasy movie Come Away was released.
