The Samsung Galaxy M62 was announced on February 24, 2021, and released on March 3, 2021. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 9825 processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G76 MP12.
Samsung Galaxy M62 runs on the Android 11 + One UI 3.1 operating system. The smartphone is packed with 8GB of RAM while the internal storage has 128GB and 256GB options.
The smartphone comes in a 6.7 inches screen size and the display is Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The dimension of the device is 163.9 x 76.3 x 9.5 mm and weighs 218 grams. It is built with a glass front, a plastic back, and a plastic frame.
Samsung Galaxy M62 sports a quad-camera setup at the back comprising of a 64-megapixel (wide) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 5-megapixel (depth) sensor. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel camera for shooting selfies.
It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 7000 mAh battery + fast charging 25W + reverse charging. Galaxy M62 is available in three colors: Laser Green, Laser Gray, and Laser Blue.
Sensors on the phone include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It also features Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, FM radio, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GALILEO, and GLONASS.
