Born on December 17, 1978, Manny Pacquiao’s real name is Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao. He was born in Kibawe, Bukidnon to Rosalio and Dionisia Pacquiao. He is the fourth among six siblings. He grew up in General Santos City.
However, Manny Pacquiao’s parents separated when he was in grade six. He finished his elementary education but he stopped schooling when he was in high school due to the financial situation of their family.

At the age of 12, Manny started his boxing training. The sport was introduced by his maternal uncle, Sardo Mejia, to him. Now, he is one of the most popular personality in the international boxing arena after having defeated more than 20 world champions.
Among those he defeated in a boxing match at least once are Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Oscar Larios, Juan Manuel Marquez, Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, , Timothy Bradley, and Adrien Broner.
Manny Pacquiao’s age now is 42. His success in boxing has greatly helped him take his family out from poverty. He also pushed through with his schooling.

Pacman is married to Jinkee Pacquiao. It was on May 10, 1999, when they officially tied the knot. Their marriage is blessed with five children – Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess), Queen Elizabeth (Queenie), and Israel.
