Substitution List Is Being Prepared by DOH for No-show People on Vaccination
The Department of Health (DOH) now prepares the substitution list if people subjected to vaccination won’t show up on their schedule.
DOH is preparing some vaccination sites to prepare a “quick substitution list” in the event that the priority cannot be vaccinated, Wednesday. Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said that vaccines are very valuable that could turn to waste if the person won’t come.
“Considering the fact that these vaccines are very valuable, so we do not want to have wastage dito po sa ating deployment program. So we already have this quick substitution list,” said Health Undersecretary in virtual brifieng.

A “quick substitution list” is a list of individuals who will replace those in the batch of people who will be vaccinated. It will immediately have replaced if the person on the list in case they are unable to attend, and in case they change their mind.
“Gusto natin, meron tayo at least 20%. Wala po tayong basehan sa 20% pero gusto lang po natin makasigurado na kung sakali dumating tayo doon sa day of vaccination and we will have refusals, at least we have this reserved 20%,” added Vergeire.
The DOH is currently refining the guidelines for those who can participate in the substitution list. Meanwhile, President Rodrigo Duterte previously announced that the vaccination will be free for the public.
