The LG G8 ThinQ comes in a 6.1” screen size and the display is a P-OLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution. The smartphone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The material used for building the smartphone includes a glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), a glass back (Gorilla Glass 6), and an aluminum frame. It measures 151.9 x 71.8 x 8.4 mm and weighs 167 grams.

LG G8 ThinQ is powered by the Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855 Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 640. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) upgradable to Android 10.

The LG G8 ThinQ is integrated with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It supports single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The smartphone is a dual or triple camera setup depending on the market. The phone’s dual camera set up include a 12-megapixel (standard) + 16-megapixel (ultrawide) while the triple camera set-up features a 12-megapixel (standard) + 16-megapixel (ultrawide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto). On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.

Sensors on the phone include proximity, barometer, compass, gyro, accelerometer, Hand ID, Face ID, and fingerprint (rear-mounted). It also features Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GALILEO, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, USB OTG, and USB Type-C 3.1.

It is powered by a 3500 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 21W + Quick charge 3.0 + USB Power Delivery + Wireless charging 9W. It was launched in Platinum Gray, New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue, and Carmine Red colors.
