According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the Davao region, the confiscated party drugs cost an estimated P839,000. PDEA Davao Regional Director Antonio Rivera said the package came from the Netherlands and was detected by K9 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

“Pinalusot pa rin namin, pero nagpunta kami sa Post Office at pina-controlled delivery ito, ibig sabihin, kami ang nagpasya kung kelan ide-deliver,” said Rivera.

Apart from party drugs, the suspects also seized 2 sachets containing only one gram of suspected ketamine, a plastic sachet containing only 0.5 grams of unidentified brown substance.

Authorities also recovered a sachet containing only 25 suspected Lysergic Acid Diethylamide or LSD tablets, and a sachet with a dark brown cube allegedly maryjane hash. The suspects will face charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
