Norway Says Vaccines Didn’t Cause Deaths Of Elderly Injected With Pfizer
VACCINES DIDN’T CAUSE DEATHS – According to health authorities in Norway, there was no link found between the deaths of elderly patients and Pfizer-BioNTech’s coronavirus vaccines.
Recently, President Rodrigo Duterte took jabs at Senators who criticized his priority for Sinovac’s COVID-19 vaccines. Duterte said that he’d buy those Senators a vaccine from Pfizer which he claimed caused the deaths of 25 patients from Norway.
Meanwhile, doctors recommended considering the overall health of the patients before inoculating them with the vaccine. Since December, the country documented 33 deaths from elderly patients who received the first coronavirus doses.
Furthermore, the director of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health Camilla Stoltenberg said they are people of advanced age. Additionally, all of them had “serious illnesses”, she stated.
Moreover, she explained that “on average about 45 people die every day at nursing homes in Norway, so it’s not given that this represents any excess mortality or that they are related to the vaccines“.
Stoltenberg added that it’s not impossible that some of those who received the vaccine were already frail. As such, she emphasized that elderly patients should be considered carefully when giving the vaccine. She explained that some patients are “so sick that they might have become worse from the normal side effects as the body reacts and builds up immunity”.
Likewise, several countries aside from Norway have documented similar incidents of deaths following COVID-19 vaccine inoculations. According to an article from ABS-CBN, Denamark, Finland, and Sweden also reported post-vaccination deaths. However, no direct connection was between the deaths and the vaccines were established.
