Beauty Queen Charlene Gonzales and Kapamilya host Toni Gonzaga announced during the October 13, episode of “The Buzz” that it was their last appearance in the top-rating Sunday entertainment show.

Before the announcement of Charlene and Toni bidding farewell to “The Buzz,” a video was shown tracing their journey from the start of their stint in the highly-popular show, accompanied by a voiceover made by “The Buzz” host Boy Abunda.
The top-rating show, “The Buzz,” have been dominating the entertainment show for the past 15 years while Charlene and Toni joined the show as host for over three years.
The two Kapamilya hosts Charlene and Toni did not elaborate further the reasons why they will be leaving the show, but based upon the voiceover, Boy Abunda hinted that there will be changes in the show.
The veteran host Boy Abunda was quoted as saying, “Sa inyong walang patid na pagsubaybay, sa inyong walang sawang pagsuporta at sa patuloy naming pagbibigay serbisyo, kasama kayo sa isang panibagong simula,” Abunda said in the voiceover.
“Kasali kayo sa pagbubukas ng isang bagong kabanata, mas malawak, mas malaki. Pakikinggan, paguusapan at pakikialaman. Ito ang pagbabagong kakapitan, pagbabagong tatatak sa puso at isipan. Ito ang inyong ‘The Buzz,’” he said.
Charlene Gonzales thanked both Boy Abunda and Toni Gonzaga for the wonderful journey that they have shared together. Toni Gonzaga on her farewell message to The Buzz viewers said that she will always look up to Abunda and Gonzales event though they won’t be working with each other every Sunday anymore. She also added that she learned a lot from Boy and Charlene about life and career.
