Malabon City Mayor Canuto Oreta announces P100,000 reward to anyone who give information behind Somera's case.

P100, 000 reward money will be given to anyone who can provide an information in connection to the case behind the death of the female radio broadcaster Marlina Flores Somera as announced by Mayor Canuto Oreta of Malabon City.

While the ongoing investigation is handled by the authorities, there were report saying that some entrepreneurs within the city also made commitments to help raise the said amount . This will contribute to the faster acquisition of data in order to solve the case regarding the shooting incident.

Further investigations reported that radio journalist Somera died when an unidentified man shot her head causing the bullet to p(–foul word(s) removed–) through the left eye of the victim.

Somera works as a woman broadcaster in radio dzME. She was about to report in their headquarters Thursday morning when the sudden incident happened.

During the incident, a witness testified that the killer was described to be a man whose height is 5’2” having a rounded face as he wore a white colored jacket with stripes of yellow along with a denim jeans.

Updates regarding further investigations say that the killing of Somera is related to the issue of land dispute that is known to be supported by Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) activist group.

As the Silonian Neighborhood (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation president, Somera was recalled to oppose in the road-widening project that would affect the land which is known to be owned by members of such organization.
