One of the Top 16 finalist and newly-eliminated The Voice of the Philippines contestant, Darryl Shy is set to perform during the highly-anticipated EDSA Protest against the pork barrel in Quezon City on Wednesday, September 11, 2013.
The 44-year-old indie music producer from Baguio City will be performing as part of the program of the prayer vigil dubbed “EDSA Tayo,” on Wednesday, according to the organizers of the second m(–foul word(s) removed–) action against the pork barrel controversy.
The EDSA Tayo vigil will be held at the EDSA Shrine, the organized rally’s program will start at 11:00 A.M. with a M(–foul word(s) removed–), which will be followed by a talk and an inter-faith gathering. It will be concluded with the special prayer organizers wrote for the event.
Darryl Shy was eliminated last Sunday from “The Voice of the Philippines” after he faced Mitoy Yonting in the live shows, although he got a higher percentage of votes among audiences but Coach Lea voted heavily for Mitoy Yonting.
