Coach Lea Salong paired two her most promising singers on Team Lea for one-of-a-kind performance between Radha Tinsay and Marissa Saroca during the August 17 edition of The Voice of the Philippines Battle Rounds.

Both Saroca and Tinsay were known singers, Marissa is a Filipino-Australian singer who released two indedendent albums, while Radha is the famous band member of the 90’s R&B band Kulay.
During the battle rounds, Radha and Marissa performed the song “Respect” as popularized by Aretha Franklin. After the performance Coach Bamboo picked Tinsay as his bet while Apl.de.ap chose Saroca but the decision was made by Coach Lea who chooses Radha to move on the next round.
The performance of Radha Tinsay and Marissa Sarroca was being dubbed by co-host Robi Domingo as the show’s “best battle ever.” The netizens also reflected their sentiments with the successful pairing of Sarroca and Tinsay, making “#Voice PHBattles” as the official hashtag and the no. 1 trending topics in the Philippines during that night.
