Taylor Swift Stalker Jailed For Sending Threats

TAYLOR SWIFT STALKER – A man from Texas has pleaded guilty to stalking and sending threats and emails to Taylor Swift’s former label.

According to an article from the Washington Post, the stalker was identified as Eric Swarbrick. Furthermore, after pleading guilty, a federal judge sentenced him to 30 months of jail time.

Along with this, the terms of the sentence also included a three-year supervised release. Moreover, the complaint revealed that Swabrick sent over 40 letters and emails to Taylor Swift‘s past label Big Machine Label Group back in 2018 asking the label to let him meet the artist.

However, what started off as a fanboy trying to meet his favorite singer quickly turned dark and violent. As per the article, on three occasions Swarbrick drove to Nashville to personally hand in the letter.

Meanwhile, NYDaily News reported Swarbrick threatened to end his life in front of CEO Scott Borchetta if he didn’t meet Swift. Additionally, a different Swift Stalker was also sentenced in April 2019 and was charged with 4 years of jail time.

Instead of merely sending threatening letters, this man actually broke into Swift’s Tribeca townhouse on several occasions.
