The Kuwentong Gilas is a special coverage of TV5 as part of the FIBA Asia Championship hosted by the Philippines this coming August 1-11. The TV5 Special, “Kuwentong Gilas” documents the journey of Gilas Pilipinas players as they work hand-in-hand for the national basketball team.
The TV5 Special coverage features the top 13 players of the Gilas Pilipinas as they prepare for the event. The last man to be cut by the national team, Beau Belga accepts the fact that it only need a total of 12 players but he give his all out support to the team.
Coach Chot Reyes also revealed the reason behind why he cut Belga with the official line-up. The team also suffered the loss some of it’s training pool mainstays.
