Man Visits Cebu City Mall To Get Haircut, Gets COVID-19
CEBU MAN VISITS MALL – One of the most common scenes you could see on a daily basis are people going to malls for haircut. However, this shouldn’t be the case when were in a pandemic.
Meanwhile, in Cebu City, a 46-year-old resident of Barangay Tunghaan visited a mall for a haircut. Unfortunately, he was one of the nine new COVID-19 cases reported in Minglanilla town.
According to an article from Cebu Daily News, the man developed coronavirus symptoms the day after he got a haircut. Because of this, he was tested for the new coronavirus.

Currently, there is a total of 134 COVID-19 cases reported from Minglanilla. Of this number, 56 have recovered while 4 have sadly succumbed to the deadly disease.
As per the report, the 46-year-old man was swab tested on June 25. Since then, he was placed under home isolation. However, no further information was disclosed, even the date when he visited the mall.
In addition to this, the town’s advisory stated:
The cases of Minglanilla and that of Cebu continue to rise. Please exercise all necessary precautions and continue to be safe.
The statement comes in line with President Duterte’s order to place Cebu back under an Enhanced Community Quarantine. Except this time, the quarantine protocols would be enforced by authoritative figures such as police and military.
