The highest official in the Philippines, President PNoy have expressed her support for comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas on her recent situation wherein she was separated with former husband Jed Salang.
The President’s support for Ai Ai was relayed by one of her sisters on Tuesday. According to host-actress Kris Aquino during an interview with “KrisTV,” the President was aware with the situation of Ai Ai even during the election counting period.
Ai Ai delas Alas is very close to the family of the Aquinos, the comedienne also expressed her gratitude towards the President. Kris Aquino also stated that just like many Filpinoas, her family is pained at seeing delas Alas suffer.
The short-lived marriage of Jed Salang and Ai Ai delas Alas ended last May 2 after a violent confrontation. The details of the separation were all revealed by Ai Ai during an interview with The Buzz on Sunday.
