Five Suspects In Pasay City Arrested For Alleged Kidnapping
FIVE SUSPECTS – Five suspects in the city of Pasay have been arrested for allegations of kidnapping and serious illegal detention.
According to GMA News, the suspects consist of four Chinese nationals and one Filipino.
On February 11, 2020 (Tuesday), the five suspects kidnapped a woman. Two days after, the victim’s partner sought the aid of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The victim’s partner claimed that theY demanded ransom money worth at about ₱40 million.
The partner added that he was able to deliver the money and the victim was released.
As per the report, not long after, police raided the five in a hotel room the day the victim was released. They further declined to make any statements about their arrest.
