The Philippine National Football Team maintained it’s 147th FIFA Worldwide ranking in the latest release of Coca-Cola FIFA World Men’s Football Ranking. The country’s ranking in Southeast Asia of the AFF was maintained also at third place behind SEA leader, Vietnam and Thailand.
Although the Philippines failed to make it to the finals of the previous AFF Suzuki Cup wherein Singapore captured the crown against Thailand, they were able to maintain a slight lead against it’s Southeast Asian counterparts.
The Asian ranking is currently dominated by Japan at no. 1 spot, they were also ranked 28th worldwide. Japan is closely followed by Australia at no. 2 spot and 37th worldwide.
