Timor-Leste Football Team Waited for Hours at Airport and Was Allegedly Taken to the Wrong Hotel
SEA games football team Timor-Leste waited for over 2 hours at the airport before their service bus picked them up and was allegedly taken to the wrong hotel.
Local organizers of the Southeast Asian Games received a complaint on Sunday, November 24 after the delinquents of Myanmar, Timor-Leste, and Thailand allegedly waited for about three hours at the airport before they were transported to the hotel.
Recently, a Facebook page named “ASEAN Football News” accuses the SEA Games organizers of neglecting the Timor-Leste football team post their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, the capital city of the Philippines.
Apparently the Timor-Leste team arrived in Manila at 5:00 am local time on Saturday. The football team made to wait around three hours for their team bus to arrive at the airport.
It is to be understood that the team bus finally arrived at around 8:00 am local time. After that, the Timor-Leste players and support staff were taken to the wrong hotel.

The Football tournament begins on Monday, November 25th and the SEA Games will officially open on Saturday, November 30th.
