The Philippine Azkals have already arrived on Monday in Bahrain for the FIFA International Friendly match against the host team which was considered as one of the strongest Asian team.
The Azkals started their Middle East Training Camps as part of their final preparations for the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup to be held in Thailand this coming November 2012.
They will be facing the 115th ranked Bahrain National Football Team today, Friday, October 12, 2012. The game will be shown live through Studio 23 around 11:30 PM (PST).
The game of the Philippine Azkals will be their first match against the Seniors Team of Bahrain compared to their previous matches where they face the U-23 squad of the host.
The Azkals will welcome back several players namely goalkeeper Roland Muller, defenders Dennis Cagara, Ray Jonsson, Rob Gier and Juan Luis Guirado, midfielders Jerry Lucena and Paul Mulders.
They will be playing without the service of Phil and James Younghusband together with Angel Guirado but they will be available for the match against Kuwait.
The Azkals will try to contain two of the explosive players such as Salman Isa who have already scored a total of 21 goals in 112 appearances and Husain Ali who scored 33 goals in 91 appearances.
