Two scrabble fanatics who happens to be best friend made an astonishing achievement by topping a million points after nearly 50 years.
Celia Simms and Joan Dungay, both 75, have achieved a stunning combined score of 1,233,592 in the cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ic word game after a staggering 47 years playing it together.
Celia and Joan Dungay have been best friends since they were just 14 years. Both started playing Scrabble together in 1965.
According to Celia and Joan they make a list of their scores since playing the game and decided it was to have a quick time to record and to count it up.
