According to the report, Davao’s Police Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum stated that Edwin Villarin was arrested by the police last Thursday, February 14 in the morning.
Tagum said the pastor has been sexually abusing the young girl since she was 6 years old.
“Sinimulan nyang galawin yung bata when she was still six years old hanggang umabot na ito ng 14 years old. Ginawang sex slave ang bata,” he said.
Based on the report, the police warrant for the pastor was served by warrant officers Senior Police Officer Filipe Tiu Jr. and PO1 Julius Guardian.
Edwin Villarin was transferred to Davao City Jail yesterday, Friday.
