Jessica Alba is doing her great job as a mother to her adorable daughters Honor and Haven! Her two beautiful princess are not even in the kindergarten yet, but it seems like they’re off to be like their mom.
The Parenting magazine’s April issue flaunted the 30-year-old Jessica with her 3-year-old and 7-month-old daughters.
Alba’s stylist Brad Goreski, 34, dressed the fashionable family for the adorable shoot, with Haven wearing a variety of looks from 77 kids by American Eagle.
In the interview, Alba admits that she’s “the disciplinarian” in the household she shares with producer husband Cash Warren, 33.
“I think it’s because I was kind of a naughty kid myself: I’d push my parents’ buttons and test them to see how much I could get away with. Cash, meanwhile, was always the perfect kid — the straight-A student who was everyone’s sweetheart. It was never in him to be naughty,” Jessica said.
Before welcoming Haven in August 2011, Alba and Warren wanted to get Honor excited about the idea of becoming a big sister. “We’d say things like, ‘You know, when the baby comes, babies can’t have lollipops or go on a swing. They can’t play dress-up.'”
“Honor realized she was going to be the cool sister,” Alba tells Parenting. “Now, she’s really into being my helper. When I change Haven’s diaper, I ask her, ‘Can you throw this away for Mommy?’ or ‘Can you get me the wipes?’ She’s really into it. I tell her, ‘Oh, you’re such a good big sister!’ and give her a high five.”
Meanwhile, Warren “is a super dad,” says Alba, who recently launched The Honest Company, which helps new moms learn about eco-friendly baby products. “If I’m with Haven, he’ll make Honor’s lunch or take her to the park. They see movies or draw together — she’ll even watch sports with him,” Jessica added.
