The MMDA has lifted up the number coding scheme over Metro Manila on Friday as the country celebrates Bonifacio Day, a regular holiday.

On Friday (November 30, 2018), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) suspends the number coding scheme in Metro Manila.

The agency declared the suspension of the number coding in celebration of “Bonifacio Day” an annual regular holiday celebrated every year.

Heavier traffic is expected over the streets of Metro Manila as motorists and passengers were rushing home to their home due to the long weekend.

MMDA said that the number coding schemes for vehicles are automatically lifted in Metro Manila during holidays.

Makati Traffic also released a statement announcing that number coding is also lifted in the city during the holiday.

The commuters and motorists are also advised to plan their trips wisely to avoid wasting time in massive traffic congestions.
