Last March, netizens spotted the couple’s names—Ferdinand Vincent Co and Phylbert Angelli Escalante Ranollo (Bea’s legal name)—on the marriage banns at St. Peter the Apostle Parish.
Since these public notices usually precede a wedding by only a few weeks, many showbiz fans speculated that the union might be happening soon.
Previously, it was rumored that the couple would tie the knot in Spain this coming May. However, a recent rumor claimed that Bea and Vincent already had their wedding ceremony in Manila.
When Bea Alonzo’s talent manager, Shirley Kuan, was asked about the rumored wedding, she refused to give a direct answer. The talent manager also debunked the pregnancy rumors about the A-list actress.
In a recent interview on GMA’s primetime news program 24 Oras, the Kapuso actress was asked about the rumored wedding.
Bea is sticking to her “no comment” stance for now, choosing to stay silent on the details. On the other hand, the actress shared that she’s focusing on a busy summer ahead, highlighted by her acting return through the series Whispers from Heaven.
Even with such a busy schedule, she mentioned that she’s still hoping to carve out some time for a quick trip to the beach because it has been a long time since her last.
“No, like concrete plans yet. Because I haven’t gone to the beach in a while, medyo matagal na ‘yung huli ko, so I’m really looking forward to going back,” Bea Alonzo shared.
