Through the Kapuso show Stars On The Floor Season 2, Jasmine Curtis-Smith showcased her dancing skills.

Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the Kapuso actress shared that she really wanted to be a dancer when she was young. “Childhood dream ko talagang sumayaw. As in nine years old pa lang, ‘yon na ‘yung gusto kong gawin,” she shared.

Jasmine also shared that she wanted to be part of a dance crew. That was the reason why when she learned that the Kapusos show was looking for new sets of dance stars, she pushed through with her childhood dream.

Inalay ko na po ang pangalan ko just in case makapasa. I just wanted to learn how to dance talaga. Why not compete while doing it?” the actress said.

Jasmine also shared that joining the show gave her a different experience. She gave her all to compete against her talented contenders such as Roco Nacio, Sugar Mercado, Chanty Videla, and Paul Salas.

Siyempre kailangang magpakitang-gilas every week. Hindi pwedeng normal, normal lang. Iba ‘yung kabisado mo ‘yung sayaw. Iba ‘yung nape-perform mo ng 100% ‘yung sayaw hanggang dulo ng sayaw,” she shared.

Through this, her strength was really challenged. She felt like she had jogged for 30 minutes and had done other physical activities.

Aside from exploring her dancing skills, Jasmine Curtis-Smith also ventured into theater. She currently stars in the play Endo with Royce Cabrera, and this is showing at PETA Theater until May 10.
