Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza spent time with her husband, actor-politician Arjo Atayde, and his family amid the breakup rumors.
Following Maine’s absence during the birthday celebration of her father-in-law Art Atayde, and sister-in-law Ria Atayde, netizens speculated that she and Arjo broke up.
This came from the video that comedian Bayani Agbayani shared which he deleted, and added fuel to the fire of breakup speculations. Explaining why he deleted his video, Bayani said that he was just an invited guest and it was not his event.
Amid the breakup rumors, the Atayde family’s PR released a statement saying that the Eat Bulaga host was just ill and that was the reason why she was not able to join her husband’s family in the said gathering.
