A source spoke about Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde’s relationship status
Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza and actor-politician Arjo Atayde are still together, a source said.
Maine and Arjo started being close to each other when they worked together in the movie Jack Em Popoy back in 2018, featuring veteran comedian-host Vic Sotto, and Kapamilya primetime king Coco Martin. Arjo was also part of the movie.
When they were spotted together at events, fans started shipping them and eventually, their relationship was confirmed. Their relationship went through intense comments from Maine’s fans because of her former loveteam partnership with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
There were still die-hard AlDub fans who believed that Maine and Alden were a couple and that they already had a child. Both of them had clarified this several times.
Eventually, supporters of Maine and Arjo became louder. Fans are gushing over their love story, especially that the actress had tweets before expressing her crush on the actor-politician, and that she seemed manifested that.
However, a recent rumored have been gaining traction on social media. It was alleged that Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde have broken up.
The speculations was prompted by Maine’s absence at the birthday party of her father-in-law Art Atayde, and her sister-in-law Ria Atayde. Before this, netizens also noticed that Arjo was not present in Maine’s birthday post, and her recent out of the country travel.
Amid the breakup rumors, a PR manager of Atayde family released a statement saying that the reason why Maine was absent from the gathering was that because she was ill.
In a recent article in The Philippine Star, columnist Jan Milo Severo shared the status of Maine and Arjo’s relationship. “Real talk, no showbiz, hindi Kaps. Sila pa. Masama lang pakiramdam noon ni Maine,” the reliable source shared.
