Shuvee Etrata received comments after mentioning the foundation affiliated with VP Leni
Kapuso actress Shuvee Etrata was attacked because of her choice to donate their Family Feud prize to Angat Pinas Inc. Foundation, which was formerly known as Angat Buhay.
The foundation was affiliated with former Vice President and incumbent Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo. Several celebrities, who are also supporters of VP Leni, have been backing up the foundation.
On the other hand, it is known to many showbiz fans that Shuvee is a supporter of former President Rodrigo Duterte. After her stint in the reality show, her old videos and posts resurfaced, and this became a reason for some people to bash her.
Just recently, based on the article in Newsko, bashers once again attacked Shuvee Etrata after netizens noticed his team’s charity choice during their guest appearance on the Kapuso game show Family Feud, hosted by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
Shuvee, along with her teammates Anthony, Eugene, and Thazzia, won the P200,000 jackpot prize. It was said that some netizens immediately raised their eyebrows when the group chose Angat Pinas Inc. Foundation as the recipient of their prize.
Since the said non-profit organization is known as the former Angat Buhay, which is associated with former Vice President Leni Robredo. Because of this, some online bashers immediately attached various meanings to the team’s decision.
The issue was further intrigued because some cyber citizens noticed that the episode’s airing was in good timing. This coincided with the resurgence of Shuvee’s old video related to former President Rodrigo Duterte on social media, so bashers could not avoid linking the two issues. As of this writing, Shuvee Etrata has remained silent on the issue.
Meanwhile, last February, Shuvee also became a trending topic on social media because of the revelation made by Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega. In an interview, Ashley revealed that Shuvee is “burara” and “makalat.”
