Ria Atayde was asked about her acting career
Kapamilya actress Ria Atayde admittted that she has no plan to return to acting anytime soon.
Ria has done several acting projects in the past before she took a break when she got pregnant. She and her husband, actor Zanjoe Marudo welcomed their baby in 2024.
The actress focused on her new role as a wife to Zanjoe and a mother to her first child. With this, Ria had to take a break from acting.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN, Ria Atayde shared that returning to acting is not in her priorities right now because she is enjoying her time being a wife and mother.
Ria was present during the media conference for the upcoming series The Silent Noise, which featured Zanjoe as one of the main cast members. During the interview, Ria shared glimpses of her life as a mother and wife.
Their baby is now 17 months old. “Tingnan po natin. I mean you know if there’s anything that comes along. I miss acting, like if there’s anything, I do miss the art part of it, the craft, the emotional release, hindi ba? Acting can be very cathartic. I am actually excited to go back,” the actress said.
However, Ria stressed that she wouldn’t replace the time she now has the real-life role that she is playing and, for her, it is the most important role that has been given to her.
“So i-embrace ko lang muna. You know siguro when Bino is a bit bigger, pwede na po. Pero for now ‘di naman wala pa,” the actress said.
Meanwhile, early this year, a rumor surfaced that Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo broke up which was immediately debunked. An issue also surfaced when they tied the knot again before 2025 ended. Allegedly, a conflict between their guests John Lloyd Cruz and Robi Domingo.
