Jopay Reacts to Viral Statements & Sends Message to Alvin Aragon

ALVIN ARAGON – SexBomb member Jopay Paguia-Zamora finally addressed the viral controversy involving Alvin Aragon and shared her heartfelt message.

Jopay Paguia-Zamora has spoken out regarding the viral statements made by Alvin Aragon, the husband of their former co-member Izzy Trazona. The issue has recently gained traction on social media, prompting questions and reactions from fans of the popular dance group.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Thursday, February 19, 2026, Jopay shared her thoughts on the matter and clarified her side. She admitted that she is not the type who frequently communicates with her fellow SexBomb members unless necessary.

“Actually, hindi kasi ako mahilig mag-message sa mga kagrupo. So [kapag] may problem, doon lang ako magme-message,” she began.

She further revealed that, despite the controversy, she has not reached out to Izzy yet. “Pero this time, wala pa. Hindi ko pa siya [Izzy] ni-message.”

Jopay also confessed that she feels hurt about how Alvin’s statements have spread online, especially since their spouses have been dragged into the issue. “Kasi masakit pa for me—kasi damay na ‘yong asawa namin. So, parang ‘teka lang naman,’” she said.

According to Jopay, she would be open to reconciliation if Alvin chooses to apologize publicly or by personal message. “Siguro kung si Alvin is naisip niya, may pagkakamali siya, public apology [ay] okay naman o kaya i-message niya kami [na] ‘pasensya na, ganito, kasi masyado lang akong nai-eager na parang gusto ko makilala nila si Lord,’” she stated.

She added a reassuring remark: “Don’t worry, Alvin, kilala nila si Lord.”

Despite the controversy, Jopay emphasized her love and respect for Izzy, noting that she has always supported her former bandmate’s decisions. “Kay Izzy, wala naman akong masasabi, e, kasi alam niya na mahal na mahal ko siya. Nirerespeto ko kung ano ‘yong naging desisyon niya from the start. Wala akong masabi doon,” she said.

Jopay also sent a direct message to Alvin, assuring him of their prayers if he is going through a difficult time. “Alvin, kung may problema ka, pagpe-pray ka namin,” she concluded.

As of this writing, Alvin Aragon has yet to release any statement or response regarding the matter.
