Sushine Garcia refused to react to Alvin Aragon’s statement
S*xbomb member Sunshine Garcia was asked to react to the controversial statement of StarStruck alum Alvin Aragon about her and her husband, Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro.
To recall, Alvin responded to people comparing him to Alex, who is very supportive of Sunshine for the reunion concert of their dance group. Alvin stressed that Alex should be the one reprimanding his wife, not to perform a sultry dance while wearing revealing clothes.
When Alex was asked to react to what Alvin said about him and Sunshine, the actor-politician opted not to address the issue.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Sunshine Garcia said that she was aware of the issue.
However, when she was asked to react to this, the dancer-actress just said, “Ayaw ko na mag-comment kasi sabi nga ng asawa ko na huwag na nating patulan. Mas maraming dapat asikasuhin, problemahin, at solusyunan.”
She wanted to just let it be because she can do nothing for the opinions of other people. “Magrespetuhan na lang tayo,” Sunshine said.
The dancer-actress did not want to say anything against her co-member out of respect for her opinion. “Para mawala na lang ‘yung issue kasi kawawa rin ‘yung pamilya nila,” she said.
Sunshine added that it is difficult for Alvin and Izzy as well because of the bashing that they received, which will somehow affect them.
She also expressed gratitude for people who showed support for her husband and defended him. Sunshine Garcia also urged the public to respect each other’s views and opinions.
“‘Yan ang hindi natin dapat pinagtatalunan — ‘yung religion, ‘yung politics. Lalo na kung magkaiba kayo ng pananaw. Mag-aaway lang kayo,” the dancer-actress said. With the support that they received, she said that it seemed that there was no need for them to defend themselves.
