Carla Abellana gave marriage a second chance
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana shared advice for women who are apprehensive about getting married once again.
Carla tied the knot with her husband, Dr. Reginald Santos, on December 27. This was not her first marriage. In 2021, she tied the knot with her ex-husband, actor Tom Rodriguez.
Years after that controversial breakup that Carla went through, she found a new love. It is with her high school sweetheart. Previously, the actress shared how they reconnected and had their second chance at love.

It was just through a simple holiday greeting that Reginald sent to her a couple of years ago. From that, realizing that they still had the cellphone numbers of each other, they started communicating.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Carla Abellana was asked for advice for women who are wary of getting married again. She said that she can’t blame women for feeling that way because she also thought about this.
For a while, she believed that she was meant to be on her own, and she knew that other women would also feel the same.
“Just know that how you feel is valid and that there’s nothing wrong with believing marriage isn’t for you anymore. Whether or not that’s the case, just keep on praying and loving yourself just as God loves you. Focus on your healing and believe that one way or another, the love you give to the world will always find its way back to you in more ways than one,” she said.

When asked what lesson she learned from her previous marriage that she could apply to her marriage now, Carla said that, honestly speaking, she did not experience and feel marriage that much because her first marriage just lasted seven weeks.
There was not enough time for her to learn any lesson as a married person because it was a short-lived union. For her marriage now, Carla Abellana said that it was still too early to learn any lesson.
