Just recently, the showbiz clan faced a tough time when their patriarch had a medical issue. Earlier this month, Ruffa asked for prayers for her dad.
Eddie Gutierrez had an initial spinal procedure in Singapore. A few days after that, Ruffa Gutierrez shared an update on her dad’s health.
She shared that an improvement was seen, and Ruffa could not help but express her deep gratitude for everyone who offered prayers for her dad and those who sent encouraging messages to her.
In a recent Instagram post, Ruffa shared photos and videos taken during their recent family dinner. She had a special moment with her dad, together with her mom, Annabelle Rama.
Ruffa’s daughters, Lorin and Venice, were also present, as well as her brother Mon Gutierrez. In the caption of her post, she wrote a heartfelt caption. The dinner took place almost 3 weeks after Eddie had his surgery abroad.
“Rare dinner night out at @dinewithmedusa with Dad [white heart emoji]. It’s been 19 days since his procedure in Singapore, and seeing him thrive fills our hearts with so much gratitude. [red heart emoji],” Ruffa wrote.
Then, the actress highlighted how important it was to enjoy life, and she expressed her optimism. “Age is just a number—hangga’t kaya pa natin, let’s keep living, loving, and enjoying life. [cocktail glass emoji, woman dancing emoji, dizzy emoji].
Cheers to more quality moments and making time for our parents,” she expressed.
