AJ Raval talked about being a first-time mom
Actress AJ Raval shared a glimpse of her experience when she became a first-time mom at 17 years old.
AJ’s personal life has been a hot topic on social media, especially when it comes to her relationship with actor Aljur Abrenica. It has been clarified that she was not the third party in Aljur’s breakup with his estranged wife, Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla.
Just recently, AJ has spoken about their children, which has been rumored for quite a long time already. She confirmed that she and Aljur already have three children, and she had two from her previous relationship, but one passed away.
Many netizens praised AJ Raval for finally speaking up, and Kylie Padilla also commended her. The Kapuso actress even shared that her sons with Aljur are being treated well by AJ, and this makes her heart so happy that many people are loving Alas and Axl.
In a recent Facebook post to celebrate her first daughter’s 8th birthday, AJ shared photos of her first daughter. She had Ariane Eliz when she was just 17 years old. In the caption of her post, the actress shared a glimpse of her struggle.
She said that at that time, she was scared, broke, and trying to figure out how to be a mom. AJ admitted that she felt like a child was raising a child. She recalled that she was financially challenged at that time and had to live in a small apartment.
“I gave birth in Lying-in Clinic. And there were nights I wished I could run to my parents, crawl back into that safety I used to have. But I didn’t want to be a burden. I didn’t want to feel like I was failing or asking for too much,” she shared.
With this, AJ held on, and fortunately, they were able to make it. The actress expressed that her daughter saved her in big ways even though she was just small.
“Your tiny hands and loud little voice reminded me that I had something worth fighting for. You’re a blessing I never knew I needed, but the greatest one I ever received,” AJ declared.
She also shared that every challenge that they encountered made them stronger and continued to move forward despite uncertainties. Although they did not have much, they had each other, and this was enough for them to carry on.
Looking at her 8-year-old daughter, AJ said that she sees a smart, strong, funny, wild, and beautiful girl. She also sees her survival, growth, and reason she learned how to fight, love, and rebuild her life.
