Enrique Gil Hints at Finding New Love by 2026
ENRIQUE GIL – After weeks of speculation about his love life, Enrique Gil finally set the record straight—and even revealed when he hopes to fall in love again.
Actor Enrique Gil has finally addressed rumors circulating online about his relationship status, putting an end to speculations that he is currently dating someone. The Kapamilya star became a hot topic among netizens in recent weeks after photos of him vacationing with a former Pinoy Big Brother housemate went viral.
During an ambush interview after the grand media launch of his upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 entry, Manila’s Finest, held in Quezon City on Friday, December 5, Enrique clarified that he has no romantic partner at the moment. When asked directly if he was seeing anyone, he straightforwardly responded, “Ngayon? Wala nga, e,” confirming that he is very much single.

Enrique also shared that while he is not in a relationship right now, he is hopeful that love will find him again soon. He expressed his openness to entering a new relationship in the near future. “We’ll see, we’ll see. Hopefully, maybe [in] 2026? We’ll see. I don’t know. It comes [and] I’m open,” he said, hinting that he might be ready to explore romance again by next year.
Before this clarification, netizens were abuzz after noticing that Enrique appeared to have spent time on a beach in Bohol with former PBB housemate-turned-beauty queen Franki Russell. Fashion Pulis reported on circulating screenshots showing Enrique, Franki, and several companions seemingly enjoying a getaway. These images were reportedly taken from the vlog of content creator “Natnat Wabe Vibes,” further fueling speculation about a possible new romance.

Adding to the intrigue is the recent revelation from actress Liza Soberano, Enrique’s former on- and off-screen partner. Liza confirmed that she and Enrique had ended their relationship long ago. In the August 14 episode of the YouTube podcast-cinema-documentary series Can I Come In, Liza admitted that their relationship had long been over and that both of them were not completely honest with their supporters. She also shared that she had wanted to inform the public much earlier.
With his personal life now clarified, Enrique moves forward with optimism—both for his career and possibly for new love in 2026.
