Soap opera queen Judy Ann Santos shared that she wanted to establish her own cooking school.
Aside from her passion for acting, Juday also found her love for cooking. She now has her own restaurant, and her YouTube channel is dedicated to teaching people how to cook simple and complicated recipes.
More than just having her own restaurant, the actress-turned-chef also wanted to have her own school dedicated to students who want to learn culinary arts.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Judy Ann shared this dream that she has. She admitted that she still has a lot to learn as a chef, as a mom, a wife, and a celebrity endorser, but that’s her dream for now.
“My work could be as a celebrity endorser, or it could be as a mom, a wife, or a chef. I take it as a challenge because I learn from it. In everything that I do, I really make it a point that I learn something from it,” the award-winning actress said.
She hoped that someday this would come true because she mentioned that there are many new moms who are afraid of cooking. Juday saw on Judy Ann’s Kitchen channel, new moms and college students who enjoy watching her cooking vlogs.
With this, she thought of creating a community where she could actually teach people not to be scared of taking a risk in the kitchen and actually learn a skill.
Then she mentioned that she could teach her students how to create the black sesame polvoron halo-halo that she presented to Chef Gordon Ramsay when he visited the Philippines a few months ago.
Juday said that cooking is a survival skill. She pointed out that it is something that you have to learn, regardless of your civil status or gender. However, she admitted that she still has a lot to learn as a chef because it is really the opposite of being an actress.
Judy Ann Santos said that she is still learning and she has a long way to go. She is just thankful that people are trusting her with their brands and products.
