Kapamilya actress Belle Mariano said that. for her, this is the key to longevity in the entertainment industry.
Belle started young in the industry. For her 14th year in showbiz, she signed a contract with her home network ever since. During the contract signing event, the actress recalled her beginnings in showbiz when she was just a child star.
ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, CFO Rick Tan, and the actress’ manager Edith Fariñas were present during the contract signing.
Talking about the many years she has in showbiz, for her, this has something to do with being humble. “What I really learned the most is that humility is the key to longevity,” she said.
Belle also shared that she learned this from the people she worked with, especially the veteran stars she looks up to. “They’re all so humble. Ang galing nila makasama,” the actress added.
Belle also said that her growth in showbiz is very important for her. She admitted that there were difficult times and she was disheartened, but she rose above these and became stronger. The actress that these experiences molder her into who is now.
Belle Mariano also stressed that one should not be afraid to learn and not too be confident that you already know everything. For her, there is always a room to grow and improve.
The actress also admitted that she still has a long way to go and she wants to learn more. She also aspires to do more projects in the future and explore other genres. “I’ve never done anything na bida-kontrabida, horror, I won’t limit myself… I want to challenge myself,” Belle said.
